Maranda Evans, CEO & Editor

Maranda Evans is a conqueror of adversity and a motivator for others. Despite having an absentee father, surviving abuse, and managing mental illness, Maranda is dedicated to helping others turn their pain into purpose by using her gift of writing and encouragement. . .

Maranda embraced her gift of writing and an act of extreme courage when she published her first book, Troubled, in November 2015 by releasing to the world the details of her troubled life as a teenager...

In January 2020, Maranda launched her publishing company, Victorian Publishing, in honor of her grandmother and to grow her experience and abilities beyond editing and consultations.

Maranda is a graduate of Sam Houston State University (BBA) and Texas Southern University (MBA) concentrating in Accounting for both degrees. She is the CEO of Elements of ME, LLC that provides many services, such as accounting services, writing services, business formation and consulting. She is also the Founder & President of The Troubled Movement, Inc., a youth 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in October 2016. Click here to learn more about “The Movement”.

Stephanie Kamion, Graphic Designer

Stephanie Kamion is a native Houstonian. She graduated from the University of Houston with a dual degree in Advertising and Spanish. As part of her coursework, she was actively involved in the UH’s study abroad program and spent time studying in Spain, absorbing and growing her appreciation for its language and culture. In 2009 Stephanie accomplished first place for executing the top advertising media plan at the Jack J. Valenti School of Communication. Also included among my academic achievements is the first place victory for District 10 in the American Advertising Federation’s 2010 National Student Advertising Competition. (Go Coogs!)

In 2012, Stephanie became the Communications Coordinator for a non-profit organization. Her job entails graphic design, web design, advertising, and more that allows her to express her creativeness through visual arts and illustrations.

Stephanie a tenacious and motivated individual who enjoys the thrill of mystery novels, crime and forensic TV shows, and spending time outdoors.


Sheridan Labbè - Marketing Manager

Sheridan Labbè, Owner, Visionary and Creative Director of House of Untamed enjoys helping small business owners and brands achieve their purpose and grow their brands through turning their passions into purpose. Through consulting individuals on digital marketing and branding through her company, Untamed Marketing (formerly Southern Kouture), Sheridan assists business owners in finding the best ways to launch and grow their brands. Recently, Sheridan was so inspired by the work she has done with other businesses that she decided to launch her second and third business, Untamed Lingerie and Untamed Nights.

Continuously nurturing her passion and seeking to grow her skills,  Sheridan serves the department of education in growing their brand and marketing development. A graduate of Sam Houston State University, Sheridan received her B.B.A in Marketing with a minor in Business Communications. Sheridan obtained her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in leadership.


Christian Simmons - Event Planner & Executive Assistant

Christian Simmons, born and reared in Houston, Texas has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Sam Houston State University. Currently she is the owner of DEMPRelations, an event planning, public relations, and management firm. Under her name she has worked with organizations such as the Houston Texans and various musicians nationwide. She is the recipient of a “40 under 40” Small Business Owners award. Very strong in her faith, she is a member of Second Jerusalem Christian Center under the stewardship of Doctors Edward and Mary Simmons. As a faithful member of the church she is the choreographer of their praise dance ministry Eternity in Praise. She works side by side with The Troubled Movement Inc. as well as her fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, Professional Business Fraternity Incorporated. She is currently the Alumni Advisor to the Iota Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at Sam Houston State University, her alma mater. Other than working in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and making plans for the future.
